Volunteer Positions:
Playhouse Guide – Ensures that visitors enjoy a pleasant and safe tour of the Museum by supervising rooms and activities. Keeps the Museum tidy, replenishes exhibit supplies, helps visitors who need specific assistance, ensures that play and exhibit use is safe and orderly. Assists Museum staff as needed.
Field Trip Guide – Ensures that field trips enjoy a pleasant and safe tour of the Museum. May perform demonstrations, play games, or lead activities in a group setting.
Reception, Clerical and Museum Store – Staffs reception desk by admitting member and non-member visitors. Duties include cashiering; handling store merchandise; telephone; copying; light clerical; answering questions; and assisting visitors and staff with a variety of tasks as needed.
